IRL Club is a community platform for adults aged 18 and over. This page documents our zero-tolerance policy on child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), our prevention practices, and how we respond to child safety concerns.

1. Our commitment

IRL Club has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that endangers minors. We invest in prevention, detection, and rapid response to protect children from exploitation on our platform.

This page documents the standards we enforce, the tools we use, the reporting channels available to our users, and the legal frameworks under which we operate.

2. Age requirements

  • Users must be 18 years or older to create an account. This is enforced during signup and stated in our Terms of Service.
  • Accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately upon detection or user report.
  • The app is rated for mature audiences and is not marketed to, nor targeted at, children.
  • All marketing, cover imagery, and product copy is aimed at adult audiences (nightlife, professional networking, adult social events, adult travel).

3. Prohibited content

We strictly prohibit:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
  • Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of minors
  • Sharing content depicting minors in sexual, suggestive, or exploitative contexts
  • Sharing personally identifiable information about minors
  • Any content that facilitates harm to children

Violation of these rules results in immediate account termination, permanent device/IP ban, and reporting to the appropriate authorities (see Section 4).

4. Reporting mechanisms

Every post, comment, message, profile, and reel in IRL Club has an in-app Report button. Users can flag content or accounts for:

  • Child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Suspected minors on the platform
  • Grooming or predatory behavior
  • Any other child safety concern

Reports are triaged within 24 hours by our moderation team. Confirmed CSAM is:

  • Removed immediately from public view
  • Reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States via CyberTipline
  • Reported to Cyber Crime Cell in India via cybercrime.gov.in
  • Reported to other applicable regional authorities depending on where the content originated
  • The offending account is permanently banned and the associated IP / device is blocked

5. Proactive detection

We employ the following prevention practices:

  • Automated content moderation on uploaded media to detect known CSAM signatures
  • Human review of all content flagged by users
  • Community-driven reporting via the in-app Report button available on every post, comment, message, profile, and reel
  • Regular auditing of accounts with suspicious activity patterns
  • Cooperation with law enforcement requests in accordance with applicable law
